Our Story

Red Brick Cafe opened in 2017 in an old storefront on Lee Street, right in downtown Franklinton. The idea hasn't changed since: a little New Orleans-style cafe where the day's menu is chalked on the board, you order at the counter, and the kitchen works in plain view.

Everything is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients — and the rhythm is part of the charm: breakfast from 8, lunch till the kitchen wraps at 2, six mornings a week. When the board says a dish is gone, it's gone till tomorrow.

"The crowd has grown proportionally, so Franklinton's 'secret' is getting out! A small restaurant in an old clothing store building is offering some of the best food, not only in town but in the entire area."
